The decor at this place is simple and functional. There are no ridiculous bells and whistles - just good wooden comfortable furniture that serves the purpose of being a pew for when you eat. The menu is original. It is so nice to see these little coffee shops venturing away from the predictable scrambled eggs on toast scenario. I can honestly say that there wasnt anything on the menu that I wouldnt have eaten. It was a little frustrating as I honestly wanted it all. Oh if only all hardships were this taxing.
I settled on the homemade creamed corn, smashed avocado, bacon and spanish tomato salsa. I wanted to try something a little different and the concept of homemade creamed corn was new to me. In this capacity anyway. My meal came out looking exactly as one would imagine from the menu description. The ingredients were fresh and it felt as though a lot of love had gone into the meal. I know that is a cliche but thats really how it felt. The salsa was really quite spicy which I loved. Note to self - perfect for a hangover, although this on this morning I was fresh as a daisy!
I dont want to go on and on like a broken record but I can not say enough good about LTN. The staff are awesome and the coffee is good. The prices are reasonable and its the kind of place that remembers your coffee order. I love that.
My new fave for sure. Loving it sickest.
